1. Aggregated Anonymous Site Telemetry

We collect aggregated, anonymous site telemetry to improve service performance, diagnose usability friction, and optimize page load speeds across mobile networks.

To understand which tour features travelers find most valuable, we use a privacy-preserving, cookieless implementation of PostHog configured in strict in-memory mode:

• In-Memory Only: Telemetry exists only for your active browser tab. Once closed, all in-memory telemetry state is wiped. No cookies or long-term tracking identifiers are written to your computer or phone.
• No Person Profiles: User profiles are permanently disabled (person_profiles: 'never'). Visits are recorded as isolated, anonymous telemetry events.
• Do-Not-Track Honored: If your browser broadcasts a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal, automated telemetry is automatically disabled.

2. Payments & Transaction Security

Bajaj Adventure offers tour pass unlocks and digital guide access via Pesapal v3, supporting international credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard) and East African Mobile Money (M-Pesa, Tigo Pesa, Airtel Money).

All payments occur within encrypted, PCI-DSS Level 1 certified gateways hosted by Pesapal. Mizizi Ltd never receives, processes, or stores your credit card numbers, CVVs, or mobile money PINs.

3. Location & GPS Data

When you tap "Follow My Bajaj" or request GPS orientation on the interactive map, your browser will ask for your permission to access your device's location.

This location data is processed strictly in real-time on your device using the HTML5 Geolocation API and Leaflet engine. We do not transmit, log, or sell your travel routes or GPS track logs to any database.

4. Emergency Desk & Safety Hotlines

The 24/7 Emergency Contacts Desk provides direct dialing shortcuts (tel: links) to verified local emergency services in Arusha, including the Tourist Police Unit, Arusha Medevac, Mount Meru Regional Referral Hospital, and backup vetted saloon drivers.

When you tap these numbers, your phone initiates the call directly over your cellular network. We do not record or listen to calls.

5. Local Offline Cache (PWA)

To ensure travelers don't lose access when driving through cellular dead zones in Arusha, our Service Worker caches tour text, Swahili phrasebook cards, and audio files locally in your browser's application cache. This cache contains only public guide assets and does not store personal identifiable information.
